Dr. Pelzer has 15 years of experience since completing her residency.
The average cost for a physician’s visit is $225.00 but rates may be higher
when a visit requires follow-up on tests ordered, extensive counseling or
extensive communication with other physicians to coordinate care.
I am able to see a limited number of patients who cannot afford the above
rate for a lower fee.
In the
event that phone consultation alone suffices,
there is a charge of $50 for existing
patients and $75 for new patients.
I am available for wellness consultations for $200.00/hour. For visits
off the Charleston peninsula, my transportation time is billed at
$25/every 15 minutes.
I am not a provider for any insurance plan and do
not accept any insurances
but will provide you with the appropriate
paperwork should you want to file.
(Patients covered by government programs
such as Medicare, Medicaid, and Tricare cannot file.)
Charleston House
Calls can serve as your primary care doctor or as an adjunct to your
regular doctor. The scope of my practice includes (but is not limited to)
wellness consultations,
ongoing treatment of chronic illness
(eg:
hypertension, diabetes mellitus, asthma, depression/anxiety, insomnia,
etc.)
and episodic care for acute illnesses
(eg: influenza, sinusitis, ear
infections, cystitis, injuries, etc.).
All ages accepted!
Any necessary testing
can be ordered at a variety of locations to include Roper Hospital,
Labcorp, and Tricounty Radiology.
Dr.Pelzer has special
interest in ADD/ADHD and welcomes local students.
She is an experienced
expert witness and is willing to review legal cases in that capacity.
